The Starstream series consists of two novels, From a Changeling Star and Down the Stream of Stars, both originally published by Bantam Spectra. They started life as a standalone series, but later linked up with The Chaos Chronicles through the common character of Jeaves, the robot. (And eventually through the starstream itself.)
