Battlestar Galactica by Jeffrey A. CarverThere are twelve models. And they have a plan.

The SciFi Channel’s hit series, Battlestar Galactica, was a major “reimagining” of the 1978 series—very different in tone and character from the original. If you’re a fan, come relive the four-hour miniseries that kicked it off. If you’ve never seen the TV show, this is a great introduction to a very human cast of characters, struggling to lead humanity to survival in the face of attempted genocide by evolved robots. The Cylons have become too nearly human, and they have a deadly agenda.

This was my first media novelization. I loved the miniseries, it was a great change of pace, and I had a terrific time writing this.

Read some of my thoughts on the writing process, particularly the entry: What’s It Like to Write a Movie Novelization?
